What is the pilot program?
The pilot program is used to determine the number of CPE credit hours we are able
to recommend for each course.
A sampling of CPAs take the course and track their time. Their average completion
time becomes the recommended number of credit hours we can recommend for the course.
You must be a licensed CPA to participate in the pilot program.

Why should I become a pilot member?
Pilot courses are available at no charge. You get the CPE credit hours without paying
for the online exam.
Since most courses are based on a book, you will be responsible for obtaining the
book. However, if you buy the book from us, we'll give you a 40% discount off the
retail price of the book.

How do I register for a pilot course?
We will send you a confirmation email when your registration is complete (usually
on the same business day). After you receive your confirmation, you may purchase the
book, if necessary, and begin the course.

How do I complete a pilot course?
Go to My CPE | My Pilot Courses
Work through the online study guide which includes both reading assignments and exercises.
Track the amount of time you spend reading, working the study guide exercises, and
completing the final exam.
Once you score 70% or higher on the final exam, you'll be prompted to complete a short
evaluation. You'll also be asked to provide your time requirements for the reading
assignments, the exercises, and the final exam.
Once we have received a sufficient number of pilots for each course (usually 3 CPAs
per course), you will receive an email notification. At that time, you may print your
Certificate of Completion by going to My CPE | My Certificates.
